This week it has rained every day in South Holland and Zeeland
where we live. The canals are flooding and extra pumps are being brought in to
carry the water out to the sea. I've never heard of this since I've lived here eight years.
It is good for the moss shown on my rocks in the photo above.
But the gorgeous red vines...?
Their leaves are scattered on the ground
preparing to decay which makes me sad.
The hortensia/hydrangea holds its own.
