I addressed my Christmas cards to my Dutch friends in The Netherlands. We've been busy and I never got around to it. I'm sorry, really I am. I should start in October instead of December ordering them.
Last night Tim and Phyllis came over and stayed for dinner.
They brought Karla who has never been here. We were planning to go out
to eat but braised worsts and cabbage instead. Enno whipped
up some mashed potatoes to go with them and
we had a hot Dutch dinner which
Mary Bess didn't eat.

I thought our little apartment was too small to have a dinner party
but it worked out okay with everyone holding their plates
on their laps.
Tonight we're headed to the Ft. Worth Rodeo!
can you believe that every night we eat in the family room with plates on our laps, just so we can sit in front of the television ? yep, we do :)

Enno and I have a t.v. that we can turn to the dining table. The table is only big enough for two, though. xo Jenny
