An Order to Things

Every morning we have the same routine.
This is good and it makes my day go smoothly.
Fluffy and I get his breakfast, my coffee then turn on the
computer to wake up with
blogger friends.

We have friends all over the world that have the same interests
we do. Gardening, painting, craft making, decorating,
travelling (what tumbleweeds do best)
and meeting interesting people
in the places we go.

After we check the blogs,
Fluffy goes outside and returns
we brush and groom him for the coming day.
We both enjoy this activity which makes him look beautiful
while cutting  down on the hairballs. When it gets warmer we'll get him clipped.

This is a
far cry from getting up
at 5:30, showering, dressing, making a
protein milkshake and dashing off to school at 6:50 to teach.
I guess I accomplished more then
but relish my
quiet time
 now.

One beautiful cat appreciates
the time I devote to him.

I am not going to be able to take him with me to Holland
in April and need to find someone willing to keep
Fluffy for me for six months until
I return or adopt him.
 Otherwise ,
he will have to go to the
Humane Society where hopefully
someone will want him and give him a good home.
He is a cat who knows the heat, likes
being outdoors but is also
a
great companion.

When I first let the sad looking stray can
inside in early November I could
have called the animal
control officer
to come get him. But I didn't. I fed him and tried
to find his owner because for sure he had one.
Fluffy knows how to behave.
He was starving and
I fattened him up,
brushed him daily and fed him.
In essence I've loved this beautiful cat who
has become my friend.
Enno is jealous!

This is absolutely the sweetest cat ever!! I think he so appreciates his wonderful life with you and enno. Surely someone will take him for you! Would be such a shame for him to go to the Humane Society!!! He's so gentle and loving!!

Oh Jenny - I knew this time would come-- I'm already fretting about it!! Fluffy is so beautiful!! Can one of your family members who live there take her while you are away? I wish I were closer- I would love her for you in a heartbeat. I'm going to worry about this all day now---
