January Yarn Project

Knitting or crocheting always calms me down,
soothes my nerves. Last week when I was
at Walmart I strolled down
the yarn aisle.

In the back of my mind is making a baby afghan
for my little granddaughter who
will come into the
world in April,

I found a book of baby afghans with photos.
One in particular appealed to me,
the one with all the
pastel colors.

This is not your normal granny square but looks like a flower.
It has taken me two days to figure it out.
I hate reading crochet directions.
It is not perfect, yet.

Tomorow is a really cold day forcast so I will have time to work on it.
Today we are making soup.

Yesterday when I came home I discovered Enno had been
painting in the studio and he'll continue today.

So, we're set with our winter projects.

OH wow, beautiful yarns Jenny. And the pattern and colora you chose are just perfect. Nice for a childrens afghan. I hope to see it grow.
Have a nice day.
