Is It Worth It?

What are the risks?
Is it something I really want to do?
Is it necessary?

I didn't realize Fluffy has been asking himself these
questions for a long time. Or maybe not.
Curiosity and cats.
We all know what that means.

Yesterday the 2 tumbleweeds were enjoying an afternoon
of watching a good program on BBC when we
saw our cat jump onto the little wrought
iron table on our patio.

He tried to reach the porch swing birdfeeder
to sniff it. Not quite tall enough he decided to climb on the one inch wide
fence. I grabbed my camera then to see what he would do.
He was like a circus tight rope walker as he turned
around in the opposite direction.

The wooden shoes in the middle of the fence hold
bird food, too. He sniffed them.
All the while he was
wobbling
back and forth.
To keep his balance he had to keep moving forward.
He couldn't look back. When he got to the
end he was facing the bushes
 and didn't
know what to do.

Tumbleweed to the rescue!
I went out and picked him up.

Just a few moments
of
extreme courage.
Sometimes that is all it takes.
After you have considered
the consequences.

Cats... 9 lives : )
Extreme courage or he just knew that you would be near by to rescue. : )
Thanks for stopping by earlier & how ever in the world did you find me??
When I 1st looked here, I saw Holland... That is where I live, but Holland Mi. where being Dutch is much. The city of Tulips, Dutch costumes, dutch food & where ever other name starts with "Van". : )
I am all Dutch, but have never been to the Netherlands... someday...
I love your wooden shoes bird feeder... that is an idea I will surely copy. That would make a great gift for my parents garden.
(& I have many pair in the attic )
It is so very nice to meet you

No wonder they say curiosity killed the cat - sometimes they will stop at nothing.
