Handsome Cherokee

Mitt Cook's  great, great, great grandfather
was full blooded Cherokee.
That is in
Native American.
Somewhere along the generations of adding white blood
he lost the tawny complection,
but not the
characteristic nose.
This handsome man is the husband of my good friend, Sherry.

What am I doing taking so many photos of him?
Sherry is a portrait painter and wants to paint him in pastel. She asked
me to take some shots of him
for her to go by.
I tried to catch the late afternoon sun and shadows
but almost missed the sun.
Naturally we made a fun evening of it and went out to eat at a new
Italian restaurant none of us want to visit again.
Portraits Sherry painted of her nephews.
