Crocheting is the oldest craft I know.
I learned when I was about seven years old
from my babysitter. It used to be second nature to me
to whip up a blanket. These days I
can't remember the patterns and have to reread
the instructions. From square to square I can't remember.
This is scaring me but I hope eventually remember the
little square patterns. This is a special blanket
because it may be my last.
Finding our rhythms,
Enno and I are happy working with our crafts.
We think everyone should have something to create with their hands
On a trip to Home Depot, Enno found
the carving tools he needs to whittle away.
We're not painting
these days
and have the door open.
Enno is sitting outside in the 70* weather today.

He said, I feel so good!

Jenny I love seeing Eno at work here .. I caught a glimpse of a wooden shoe in the back ground .. We had a little tour of a wooden show place in Holland .. we bought what was called "Barn" wooden shoes but I always regretted not buying the intricately carved "wedding" shoes .. I am still kicking myself for that fumble ! haha
Beautiful wood piece !
